Humpback Calling

Humpback Calling is part of a 3 sculpture series which includes Humpback Song and Humpback Dance. In this beautiful Lucite sculpture, the tail fin (known as a fluke) is elegantly shaped out of Lucite for a dramatic effect as it extends from the wave detail at the bottom of the sculpture. A single whale, embedded in metal, shows through as if the viewer can see the whale under water.
